Tonight’s San Marcos vs. Dos Pueblos boys basketbal game at DP’s Sovine Gym will have a special guest in attendance.
Charger alum and NBA rookie Julyan Stone is planning to be at the crosstown Channel League clash and the school will honor him at halftime. Stone was a star player for the Chargers before moving on to Texas-El Paso, where he became the school’s and Conference USA’s all-time leader in assists.
Stone, known as JuJu when he played for the Chargers, signed a free agent contract with the Denver Nuggets.
Tipoff for tonight’s game is 7 o’clock.
