The Dos Pueblos boys tennis team breezed past Oxnard with a convincing 16-2 victory on a cold and windy Tuesday night.
“Focus and fire continued into this second non-league match,” Chargers head coach Elizabeth Frech said.
Playing on the road, the team received excellent singles performances from Joshua Wang and Sean Handley. Wang went 3-0 and did not lose a game on the day, while Handley went 2-0 and defeated Trent Lopez, who had beaten him last year.
In the doubles matches, the duo of Mason Casady and Sam Boulanger led the way by sweeping their opponents and only dropping one game.
Dos Pueblos (2-0) will play next on Friday at Thousand Oaks.
