Six local girls soccer teams earned berths in the CIF playoffs, and two teams received first-round home matches on Friday.
Dos Pueblos (14-3-6), the Channel League runner-up, will play host to Royal, the Marmonte League’s No. 3 team, in Division 2, while Condor League champion Laguna Blanca (9-5) welcomes Oxford Academy (Academy at-large) in a Division 6 opener.
In first-round road games on Friday, San Marcos (Channel No, 3) is at Pacific League champion Arcadia in Division 2, Carpinteria (11-4-4, Frontier No. 2) travels to Orange League winner Katella in Division 5, and Cate (7-4-1, Condor No. 2) plays at Wilson Hacienda Heights (Valle Vista No. 2) in Division 6.
Bishop Diego (12-6-3, Frontier No. 4) received an at-large berth in Division 5 and will play a wild-card match at Santa Fe (Del Rio No. 3) on Wednesday. The winner travels to No. 1 seed Cabrillo (19-1-6, Los Padres No. 1) in Lompoc on Friday.
Also from the North County, PAC-7 champion Righetti (16-2-3) hosts Chadwick (Prep No. 3) and Santa Ynez (11-7-3, LPL No. 2) is home to Paloma Valley (Sunbelt No.2) in Division 5.
