The Cate School girls basketball team received double-digit scoring nights from Erika Noble and Erin Griffin en route to a 52-15 victory at home over Laguna Blanca on Wednesday night.
Noble and Griffin each put up 11 points while Brittany Newsome added nine more to go along with her ten rebounds.
In its last game of the year, Cate was able to get all of its players into the game and give plenty of minutes to the seniors.
Laguna Blanca dropped to 0-3 in the Condor League and will play against Thacher tomorrow.
The Rams finished 6-8 on the year and 2-2 in league. The team is not in contention for a playoff spot.
“With the exception of two games all season, we were in every game until the fourth quarter,” head coach Jay Dorion said about his team’s season. “Despite a losing record, it was a positive season and we got some great kids coming back.”
