Cate senior Jack Langan had a breakout game in the final regular season boys soccer game on Tuesday against Laguna Blanca.
Langan scored two goals and added an assist for the first points of his career in a 7-0 Condor League win.
Freshman Daniel Rodriguez also scored his first goal, running up from his position as left back. Sophomore Matthew Firestone had a goal and two assists and junior Abhay Singh netted a goal.
UCSB commit Ema Boateng rounded out the scoresheet with two goals and two assists.
Playing out of position, senior captain Avery Schwartz held down the sweeper spot and helped senior captain Blake Wands record his 10th shutout of the season.
Cate (8-0 in league) will enter the playoffs with a 14-1-1 overall mark. The Rams will host a first-round game on Thursday.
