The Bishop Diego JV boys basketball team completed an undefeated season Wednesday night, routing Villanova Prep 81-41 in a Frontier League game at the Brickhouse.
The Cardinals went 22-0 for coach Patrick Davis. The team was led by junior Caleb Richey Jr., and sophomore Jack Baker, who transferred from Santa Barbara High and, under CIF transfer rules, were not eligible to play on the varsity.
Other members of the team include Grant Sexton, Will Busch, Ryan Shields, Mario Martines, Christian Pearson, B.J. Murrillo, Anthony Carter, John Ruiz, Abel Gonzales, Ricky Herrera and Joe Salcido.
