Bethany Lugo scored 12 points to lead a balanced Carpinteria scoring attack in a 47-25 girls basketball win at Malibu in a Frontier League game on Tuesday night.
Erin Saito added points and Juli Cullins chipped in eight points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out four assists. Lugo had three assists.
The Warriors got good contributions on the boards form Lauren Mingee and Kristina Burch, who each grabbed seven rebounds.
Carpinteria (10-13, 4-3) plays a key game against La Reina on Thursday.
