UCSB won a total of 17 events with five Gauchos capturing multiple individual event titles.
The meet opened with both UCSB ‘A’ relays sweeping the 200 medley relay. The women’s team of Allie Knight, Sophia Yamauchi, Andrea Ward and Kendall Neely touched in 1:45.17. On the men’s side, Chris Peterson’s come from behind anchor leg led himself, Kevin Ferguson, Tyler Jean and Wade Allen to first place in 1:32.01.
Andrew Barmann captured the first of his two individual wins in the 1000 freestyle with a finish in 9:31.99. He later won the 500 free in 4:37.20.
