Sophia Soriano had four goals against Nordhoff and led the Cate girls water polo team to a 8-4 comeback victory on the road.
The Rams were down 3-2 after two quarters, but dominated the second half by outscoring Nordhoff 5-1.
Caroline Montgomery and Maddie Schrager each had two second half goals, and goalie Lela Puckett had an excellent performance to propel the Rams through their late run.
Cate improved to 1-0 in league play and will Villanova at home on Friday.
