Oak Park pounded Bishop Diego 60-24 on Tuesday to claim a Tri-Valley League win.
“We gave up too many second chance points,” said Cardinals head coach Jeff Burich.
Bishop trailed big at halftime but switched to man-to-man defense in the second half and played the Eagles mostly even in the final two periods.
Oak Park connected on eight 3-point attempts as a team and was led in scoring by Kelsey Haines with 15. Sarah Bucknovitz added 12.
Josie McCoy’s seven points led Bishop.
It was the first of five road games for Bishop, which just finished the first round of league play. The Cardinals travel next to Nordhoff for a game on Thursday.
