Wow…
It seems like time just goes faster and faster the older you get! I can’t believe it is already New Year’s Eve. First off, I hope everyone had a happy and healthy holidays!
Mine was great, I got to spend some quality time with my brother and sister which is always the best because I don’t get to see them very often.
But in this blog I just want to reflect on 2011 and look forward to 2012.

2011 was a big year for me. I made the ASP World Tour, which has been a dream of mine forever; the Nike women’s movie “Leave A Message” came out which we had been working on for 2 years; I had the incredible opportunity to speak at two different schools about pursuing your dreams; and I went on a total of 54 flights and visited 10 different countries!
Looking back in 2011 It is a year I will certainly not forget. I have learned so much about myself, I just feel like I matured a lot this past year. I’m way more independent, and confident in myself, I don’t worry so much about what other people think: I just am who I am.
Looking forward to 2012… I am SO excited!!
The ASP world Tour is going to be amazing. I will have the opportunity to surf waves that I never have before. It is my rookie year so I am going to give it everything I got to win the world title!
Another goal for 2012 is definitely to meet Justin Bieber haha. ;) It will happen!
But honestly I don’t know what 2012 is going to bring, all I know is that it’s going to be a whole new experience of traveling and exploring new places.
