Ryan Bickett had two goals and Connor Curran had one to earn the Laguna Blanca boys soccer team its first win of the year with a 3-0 victory over Midland at home.
The Owls had lost to Midland earlier in the season, and were tied 0-0 at the half.
Bickett came out of the break strong and got his first goal just minutes after play resumed.
The Laguna Blanca midfielder and defenders closed down on the Midland players, and limited scoring opportunities for the visitors.
The Owls had no trouble moving the ball into threatening positions, and Bickett got his second goal later in the half before Curran sealed the victory with his strike.
Laguna Blanca (1-3 Condor League, 1-5 overall) will continue its season on Wednesday at home against Thacher.
