Tugce Canitez and Lisa Peterson both had double-digit scoring and rebounding nights to help the Westmont women’s basketball beat Point Loma Nazarene 65-48 at Murchison Gym.
Canitez had 24 points and 14 rebounds while Peterson scored 15 and grabbed 11 boards. Katie Kittle also scored in double figures with 14 points.
The Warriors never trailed in the game, and the dominating victory now brings the team to 10-0 in the Golden State Athletic Conference.
Westmont (20-1 overall) will continue its season on Tuesday against Vanguard at home.
