Bishop Diego snapped a two-match league losing streak by beating Villanova 4-1 in a Frontier League girls soccer match on Tuesday.
“The girls knew that we shouldn’t have dropped those games last week,” Bishop coach Brent Gonsalves said. “We just had to get back on the ball. We had a string of bad luck and injuries.”
Breanna Cordeiro and Jordan Price scored in the first half and Annalise Morando and Erin Linehan tallied goals in the second half for the Cardinals (8-4-2, 1-2).
