San Marcos suffered a 2-0 loss at Arroyo Grande on Tuesday in a game in which the Royals had a minumum 11 players suited up.
Arroyo Grande won the midfield battle and almost made the score 3-0 in the final minutes but for a pair of saves from Hannah Harrah.
The setback drops the Royals’ season record to 2-2-2. San Marcos returns to the playing field on Thursday in a game against Oxnard.
