It took overtime, but Laguna Blanca’s boys basketball team was knocked off for the first time on Monday night in a 49-41 loss to Hueneme.
The Vikings made 9-of-10 free throws in the overtime period to gain the upper hand.
Laguna’s Brandon Bickett led all scorers with 19 points.
The Owls (4-1) move on to play Thacher on Wednesday.
