Santa Barbara High and Pacifica settled on a 0-0 draw Tuesday in Oxnard in a game that the Dons were missing five starters.
“Our back row and goalie did a great job,” said Dons head coach Jeff Johnson.
Reserves Jazmine Maya and Hannah Brisby stepped in to get the job done. Goalie Allie Chandler posted the cleansheet.
The Dons hold a 3-2-2 record and face Santa Ynez on Thursday in another game in which Johnson expects to be short-handed due to injuries and vacations.
