Last three quarters not kind to Warriors

Rosamond had too much for Carpinteria on Saturday at the Fillmore Tournament, taking the battle for third-place 51-32.

Andrew Sova posted 11 points for the Warriors, who also got solid play off the bench from junior Noah Woo.

“We started well but just got really flat,” said Warriors head coach Johnny Ward.

After holding an 11-10 lead at the end of the first quarter, Carpinteria was outscored 41-21 the rest of the game.

Carpinteria (1-4) hosts its Bashore Tournament starting next Friday. The tourney runs Friday through Tuesday with a day off on Sunday.
