Johnny Ford and Santiago Bolag scored for Bishop Diego on Saturday, but the Cardinals gave up the equalizer in the second half and settled for a 2-2 tie at Santa Clara.
Ford and Bolag scored in the first half to give the Cardinals a 2-1 halftime advantage.
“We were missing somepplayers there, but we still managed to pull it through, so it was a good result,” said Cardinals head coach Ivan Becerra.
Bishop Diego will now take the week off from competition to focus on finals. The Cardinals return to action on Friday against Santa Maria.
