San Luis Obispo’s girls soccer team shut out Dos Pueblos 2-0 on Tuesday, something that no team was able to do in the Chargers’ first six contests.
“It was frustrating,” said Chargers junior captain Jamie Benedetto. “We have a lot of work to do.”
The Tigers scored both goals in the second half to send the Chargers (3-2-2) to only their second loss of the season.
Dos Pueblos plays again right away, taking on Rio Mesa on Wednesday.
DP freshman Weslea Greyson was a bright spot for the Chargers. Greyson came in and played well as a defensive back in her first varsity game.
After Rio Mesa, Dos Pueblos will play in two tournaments before the New Year.
