The Dos Pueblos boys basketball team played Simi Valley tough through three quarters, but were unable to contain the three-point shot and lost 66-53.
After winning a game and losing a game at the Simi Valley Tournament, the Chargers faced a difficult matchup against the tournament’s host team.
Mansai Connor and Cruz Mertens led the Dos Pueblos with 10 points each, which kept their team in the game until Simi Valley started to heat up from behind the arc.
The Pioneers finished the game with 11 made three-pointers.
