Dos Pueblos’ girls soccer team recorded its second shut out of the season on Wednesday, finishing off Pacifica 3-0.
The Chargers, ranked No. 9 in CIF-ss Division II, improve to 3-1-1.
Rachel Smith and Mari Solis gave DP a 2-0 lead at halftime and Jamie Benedetto followed up with a second-half goal to complete the score. Smith, Emma Trumbull and Emily Erwin were credited with assists for setting up the goals.
Brandie Harris gave Pacifica problems as well.
“She did a lot of damage to the defense,” said Chargers head coach Jose Guerrero.
Dos Pueblos returns to action on Friday at Thousand Oaks.
