Bishop Diego settled on a 1-1 draw with Mission Prep on Wednesday, with Matt Hill scoring in his second straight game for the Cardinals.
Hill found Mission Prep’s sidenet in the 15th minute off an assist from Justin Brosnan, but Mission Prep equalized in the 40th minute just before halftime.
The two sides remained scoreless in the second half.
Centerback Jonathan Mirando helped the Cardinals get a result with the tie.
“He just did an outstanding job in the back, making sure things were organized from the back all the way to the front,” said Cardinals head coach Ivan Becerra.
Bishop Diego head into its next game on Friday with a 1-2-1 record.
