Agoura handed Bishop Diego its third straight loss in the Oak Park Tournament on Thursday in a 61-43 contest.
“We played a very good first half tonight and kind of just wore down in the second,” said Cardinals head coach Dean Prophet, who’s still working his football players into basketball playing shape.
Elias Munoz led Bishop in scoring with 19 points. Leo Schneider and Nolan Tisdale added seven each and Reece Moulton 6.
The Cardinals will look for their first win at the Oak Park Tournament on Friday against Besant Hill. Prophet hopes to have his full team available for Monday’s home game with St. Bonaventure.
