Kelsie Bryant, Kassandra Ni and the doubles team of Erin Saito and Lesly Zapata led Carpinteria’s girls tennis team to a 12-6 CIF victory over Beaumont in the first round of the Division IV playoffs.
Ni did not lose a game in three sets while Bryant and Saito-Zapata also swept three sets for the Warriors.
Katherine Delk and Natalie Saito teamed to win 2-of-3 sets for Carpinteria, which improves to 13-2 on the season.
Beaumont finishes with an 18-4 record.
The Warriors will host Savanna on Saturday in the second round. Weather permitting, the match will start at noon.
