SBCC will host Golden West in the Southern California Regional men’s soccer finals on Saturday at 7 p.m. in La Playa Stadium.
The Vaqueros, seeded No. 3 with a 17-1-4 record, have won eight straight including playoff victories over L.A. Harbor (2-1) and Rio Hondo (3-0). SBCC won its third WSC title in the last four years with a 10-1-1 mark.
Golden West, the runner-up in the Orange Empire Conference, is seeded No. 7 with a 13-5-4 record. The Rustlers beat San Bernardino Valley and No. 2 Cerritos, both by 1-0 scores.
There are two Southern Cal Finals on Saturday. The other one features No. 4 seed Oxnard, the WSC runner-up, at top-seeded and unbeaten Mt. San Antonio (19-0-3).
The winners advance to the State Final Four on Dec. 2 and 4 at Cosumnes River in Sacramento.
