Dear Santa Barbara sports community and beyond –
Presidio Sports has been reporting on local sports in Santa Barbara for over three years now, constantly trying to provide as much coverage of the local athletic community as possible with our tiny staff.
While we keep ourselves busy providing news and information about local sporting events, we’re very aware that there is more to local athletics than wins and losses.
We have long wished to provide a platform for local issues in the sports community to be raised and debated. We frequently receive a large number of requests for articles on issues that we just can’t address because of our limited staff.
We still want these topics to have a place on Presidio Sports so we would like to start publicizing a new section of the website devoted to giving the community a platform on which to be heard.

“Letters to the Editor” will be published by our staff, and others are encouraged to comment and/or submit their own response.
This is a way for our community to share their views and to get a sense of what other people are thinking. We love that our town has its fair share of controversy and a number of colorful opinions.
