James Nunnally taps a loose ball to himself and starts a fastbreak that ended with a Kyle Boswell layup and one of Nunnally's 3 assists. The play was started by a Jaime Serna block and gave UCSB a 23-17 lead, part of an 18-0 run that started with the Gauchos down 17-14. (Presidio Sports Photos)

The Gauchos out-rebounded the Broncos 47-31. Here, Jaime Serna fights for a rebound in the first half.

UCSB center Greg Somogyi swats away one of his five blocks. He was one of nine Gauchos who had at least four rebounds. He was also one of nine players to get 14 or more minutes of playing time.

Santa Clara's Niyi Harrison escaped Somogyi's reach on this drive to the basket.

Harrison scores two of his team-high 15 points on this dunk. Harrison was 6-for-10 from the field while every other Bronco with more than four shot attempts were a combined 9-for-40.

Santa Clara's Evan Roquemore finds an open jumper in the lane. Roquemore was one of many Broncos who could not find their shot. As a team, they shot only 32.8 percent.

Christian Peterson started again for the Gauchos and collected five rebounds, two assists and a steal. He also scored two points but did not attempt a field goal on the night.

Kyle Boswell scored in double figures for the second consecutive game. He's the team's third-leading scorer behind Nunnally and Orlando Johnson with an 11.5 ppg average.

Nunnally mixed up his attack on the way to 24 points. He scored in just about every fashion, from-dunk-to-free-throw-to-3-pointer.
