Dos Pueblos will take on Redondo Union in the second round of the CIF Division 1-AA girl volleyball playoffs at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Sovine Gym.
The start time is earlier because of the DP-San Marcos football game at Scott O’Leary Stadium.
The Chargers, seeded third in the tournament, received a first-round bye. Redondo advanced with a four-set win over Long Beach Poly in rematch of last year’s final, which was won by Poly.
Santa Barbara, a first-round winner over Royal, travels to Mater Dei Thursday for a 6 p.m. second-round match.
In Division 4-AA, Laguna Blanca is home to St. Paul. Laguna received a first-round bye while St. Paul eliminated Providence in four sets in the first round on Tuesday.
