The final CIF polls of the prep football season were released on Monday, with Carpinteria dropping several spots in the Northwest Division to No. 7 after a 34-24 loss to Nordhoff.
The Warriors (7-2) had previously been ranked No. 4.
Bishop Diego clinched the outright Frontier League title on Saturday and retains its No. 5 ranking in the East Valley Division.
Carpinteria and Bishop Diego meet on Friday night at La Playa Stadium for a non-league rivalry game to close out the regular season.
