ORLANDO JOHNSON

UCSB’s Orlando Johnson

BIO – The California native is a professional basketball player who has played for the Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings of the NBA.

Johnson was born in 1989 in Seaside, California and went to high school at Parma in Salinas. Johnson played his freshman year of college basketball at Loyola Marymount University before transfering to UC Santa Barbara.Johnson, who was named Freshman of the Year in the WCC, sat out a year before playing with the Gauchos starting with the 2009-10 season.

In two of three seasons in Santa Barbara, Johnson led the Gauchos to two NCAA Tournament appearances. Johnson also played for Team USA at the World University Games in China in 2011.
