Dos Pueblos had its full squad together on Tuesday and the Chargers went out and swept Ventura 25-8, 24-21, 25-18 in a Channel League match on Tuesday.
The win improves DP’s record to 5-1 in league going into Thursday’s first-place showdown at Santa Barbara.
Taylor Racich, who didn’t play in the California Challenge last weekend, returned to the lineup had led DP with 14 kills. hit .667, had two solo blocks and served four aces. Amanda Moriarty also returned and added 10 kills and 12 digs.
Katie Speiler paced the DP defense with 16 digs.
Coach Todd Garrett was pleased with the team’s play at the net.

The Chargers, ranked No. 3 in CIF Division 1-AA, improve to 24-7.
