Despite strong gusts of wind at par-36 Olivas Links in Ventura, Vanessa Villa shot par to medal and help Dos Pueblos defeat Buena 222-246.
“I thought it was a pretty impressive round of golf in difficult conditions,” Chargers head coach Rob Schiff said about his team’s performance. “It was not an easy day to play golf.”
Bekah Beveridge also was seemingly unaffected by the adverse weather conditions, and was just behind Villa with a score of 39.
Dos Pueblos (9-2 overall, 5-0 league) continues their season at Glen Annie Golf Course against Paso Robles on Monday.
