Ventura held San Marcos middle Kristen Berlo to six kills and the Royals were swept 25-19, 25-20, 25-23 in a Channel League girls volleyball match on Thursday.
Outside hitters Jaimie Mayner and Katie Kim led San Marcos with 9 kills each. Setter Andie O’Donnell had 27 assists.
