Carpinteria’s Lauren Taira and Zoey Luna scored their lowest cumulative 9- and 18-hole scores and earned all-league honors at the Tri-Valley Championships on Wednesday.
Luna shot a 97 and Taira a 99 to earn second-team honors. Yvonne Rodriguez shot 142 and was named honorable mention.
“I am so proud of the girls as Zoey and Lauren had never played 18 holes and Yvonne only one 18-hole round,” said coach Chris Gahan. “What a great end to our season.”
