Dos Pueblos and Santa Barbara golfers failed to advance out of the CIF Individual Northern Regional at Oxnard’s River Ridge Golf Course on Monday.
DP’s Vanesa Villa and Isabella Doub of Santa Barbara were the low scorers for the local teams: Villa shot a 79 and Doub an 80.
The cutoff to advance was 77.
Kristin Chung of Fairmont and Robynn Ree of Redondo both shot 67, and Chung won a playoff to earn top honors.
Three county players advanced to the final at the Alisal River Course in Solvang: Marissa Gutierez of St. Joseph (72), Morgan Salm of Cabrillo (73) and Kristin Henno of Santa Ynez (75).
Other area players who missed qualifying include Desirae Gillaspy (79) and Christiana Layman (80) of Santa Ynez; Kelsey Wong (80) and Danika Cochiolo of St. Joseph; Saralisa Ortega of Santa Barbara (83) and Bekah Beveridge (95) of Dos Pueblos.
