Jessica Domenichelli and Courtney Allard scored goals five minutes apart in the first half on Tuesday and SBCC went on to blank Moorpark 3-0 in a WSC North women’s match on the road.
In the 20th minute, Domenichelli notched her 10th goal from close range on an assist from Katie Voss. In the 25th minute, Allard found the net from 25 yards. Ali Raack set up the last goal in the 59th minute by breaking through the defense, drawing out the keeper, and sliding the ball to Voss for an open-net score.
Domenichelli has eight goals in her last six games.
Cheyenne Rodriguez and Hannah Zech combined on the sixth shutout of the year by the Vaqueros (9-1, 4-1), who are ranked No. 15 in the state and No. 6 in the nation.
“We dominated the game,” said coach John Sisterson. “Ali was outstanding in the midfield. That was one of the best games I’ve seen her play.”
The Vaqueros will host Cuyamaca of El Cajon in a nonconference game on Thursday at 7 p.m.
