Faith Emerson had one of her finest performances of the season, but Providence Hall was only able to take one set playing away against a talented Thacher team.
The scores in the match were 25-23, 20-25, 14-25, and 22-25.
“She was an absolute monster at the net,” Providence Hall head coach Laura Trudelle said about Emerson’s game, which was highlighted by five kills, five blocks, and 17 digs.
Olivia Barroca had an excellent night in service with six aces.
“We were trying to prepare for thatcher and that gave the girls confidence going to game one,” Trudelle said. “We decided we could actually play against Thacher.”
Providence Hall (5-5) continues their season at the Ojai Valley School on Friday.
