Santa Barbara rebounded from its heartbreaking loss to Dos Pueblos by pulling away from Ventura 13-8 in a Channel League water polo match Tuesday at the Dons’ pool.
The Dons (14-6, 3-1) scored five goals in the fourth period to put the Cougars away. They led 6-3 at halftime and 8-6 after the third period. Last week, they lost 5-3 to Dos Pueblos.
Alec Linz and Skyler Matthews each scored three goals to lead Santa Barbara. Cristian Bridley added two goals and Connor McManigal had five assists.
