After a tough loss at Dos Pueblos on Tuesday, the Santa Barbara High girls volleyball team rebounded and defeated Ventura in straight sets.
“It was was great to see them play with a real sense of determination after the tough match on Tuesday,” head coach John Gannon said.
The scores in the games were 25-16, 25-23, 25-20.
Dani Rottman led the Dons with 13 kills, while Remi Pulice had eight, and Holland Crenshaw added six more.
Kira Schleich aided the offensive effort by her teammates with excellent distribution throughout the night.
Santa Barbara (9-5 overall, 3-1 league) will take time off and play again on October 14 at the California Challenge Tournament at Torrey Pines in San Diego.
