The Santa Barbara High girls tennis team was dominant at home against visiting Cate, and completed a clean sweep to win the match 18-0.
This completed the Dons second consecutive match in which they won every set, as they shut out Buena on Thursday night.
It also caps off a tremendous week of tennis for the team, as it narrowly edged out previously undefeated Peninsula 10-8 on Wednesday behind stellar play from top its double team, Madison Hale and Megan Grant. Peninsula was the third-ranked team in Division I CIF going into the match.
The Dons (11-4 overall, 5-0 Channel League) are ranked third in Division II CIF and continue their season at home against San Marcos on Tuesday.
