Ashley Correa scored a hat trick and had an assist as NAIA 12th-ranked Westmont rolled over San Diego Christian 8-1 in a GSAC women’s soccer match on Saturday at Thorrington Field.
Correa assisted on Samantha Kleen’s goal in the third minute to get Westmont going.
Westmont added five more goals before halftime. Aolani Rueff, Jenny Martinez, Correa, Mallory Mitchell and Kaci Mexico scored for the Warriors.
Correa added two unassisted goals in the second half to complete in her hat trick.
Westmont outshot San Diego Christian 35-4.
The Warriors improved to 9-3 overall and 4-1 in conference play. San Diego Christian is now 4-8 overall and 0-5 in the GSAC.
