The Santa Barbara girls tennis team vaulted into the No. 1 ranking in CIF Division 2.
The Dons (11-4 going into Tuesday’s match) are coming off an upset of Peninsula, which is top-ranked in Division 1. They also have a win over Division 1 No. 7-ranked Palos Verdes this season.
The were previously ranked third in Division 2.
In girls volleyball, Dos Pueblos dropped from second to third in the Division 1-AA poll. Laguna Blanca is fifth in Division 4-AA.
Dos Pueblos and Santa Barbara are ranked ninth and 10th, respectively, in Division 1 boys water polo.
