Greg Cusack scored three goals and Miles Barney and Zack Allen added two each to lead Cate to a 9-2 win over Nordhoff in the Rams’ final home game of the season.
The victory was the first in Tri-Valley League play for Cate.
Cate’s senior goalie Jacob Winnikoff had one of his best performances of the year, stopping numerous shots to keep the visiting Rangers off the scorebooks.
With the score knotted at 2-2 going after the first quarter, Cate’s offense exploded, rattling off seven straight goals.
