While both teams had to deal with unfavorable weather conditions at par-36 Rustic Canyon Golf Course in Moorpark, the Carpinteria girls golf team was unable to hand La Reina its first Tri-Valley League loss and was outscored 217-306.
“Despite playing an undefeated team on a very wet, windy, and cold golf course the girls keep great pace and all gave all they had today,” head coach Christine Gahan said.
Carpinteria (1-7) plays next at Elkins Ranch against Fillmore on Tuesday.
