The Carpinteria High girls golf team was unable to beat Oaks Christian at Montecito Country Club, dropping a 246-213 decision in the Tri-Valley League match.
Lauren Taira shot a 49 and Zoey Luna scored a 53, despite both players playing with injuries.
“We are proud of them and proud of the hard work all the girls are putting in to try to improve despite setbacks for all to overcome,” Carpinteria head coach Christine Gahan said.
The Warriors (1-6 Tri-Valley League) will travel to Rustic Canyon Golf Course on Thursday to play unbeaten La Reina.
