The Bishop Diego girls volleyball team was outmatched at home against Oaks Christian and lost in straight sets.
The scores in the games were 25-19, 25-16, and 25-9 in favor of the visitors.
Diana Sleep led the team with nine kills and 11 digs, while Lauren Underwood contributed eight more kills. Nicole Tetherow was instrumental in setting up the offense and finished with 27 assists.
“What was really great about tonight is these girls came out and competed,” assistant coach John Sener said. “It was just a great learning curve for Bishop Diego volleyball.”
The Cardinals (6-5 overall, 5-4 Frontier League) play next on Saturday atMission Prep in a non-league match.
