The Bishop Diego girls volleyball team continued a strong preseason in a rout at home over Villanova behind setter Nicole Tetherow’s 25 assists.
Lauren Underwood had 10 kills, and Diana Sleep added seven more as the Cardinals won 25-15, 25-12, and 25-10.
“We played good volleyball throughout the night and got better as the night went on,” head coach Jason Donnelly said.
Libero Madison Ballard excelled in service and passing, adding to Bishop Diego’s already potent offense.
The Cardinals (2-0) continue their season Tuesday at Laguna Blanca.
