The Carpinteria High girls tennis team started their season well by winning their first two matches of the season earlier this week.
On Tuesday, the Warriors defeated a B-squad from Santa Barbara High after an exciting tie-breaker. Freshman Kelsie Bryant won all three of her singles matches, and sister act Erin and Natalie Saito went unbeaten in doubles play.
On Wednesday, the Saito sisters were at it again, going undefeated against St. Bonaventure. All three doubles teams had winning records for Carpinteria, helping their team to an 11-7 victory.
The Warriors (2-0) continue their season at First Serve Tournament in Torrance on Saturday.
