The Laguna Blanca girls volleyball team had an uncharacteristic showing in an away game against Viewpoint and they lost in straight sets.
The scores for the night were 25-21, 25-16, and 25-19.
“They’re a really good team,” head coach Jim Alzina said. “We adjusted our defense and we got a couple good blocks on their best play and a couple good digs on their best player. We played with a lot of heart.”
Laguna Blanca (1-1) will return home to play next against Bishop Diego on Tuesday.
